His contributions to the development of the bond market in Ghana include initiating and leading the design and placement of the SSNIT Educational Notes in 2000, the first of its kind. Togbe also started a national debate in 2003 on the interest rate policy which resulted in better alignment of Bank of Ghana’s inflation expectations and interest rates, and the subsequent lowering of interest rates and establishment of a normal yield curve.
He was appointed by the President to the board of the Bank of Ghana in recognition of his contributions, and also serves on the boards of Aluworks Limited, Pioneer Kitchenware Ltd, Navigator Communications & Technology Ltd and Sunon Asogli Power Ghana Ltd, among others. He holds an MBA from Yale University, New Haven, USA and a B.Sc. from the University of Ghana Business School.

Ken received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Ghana in 1986 and an MBA from North Carolina Central University in 1997. He completed a Certification course in Oracle 2000 (Developer/PL/SQL) from North Carolina State University in 2000.
